About the Author

I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively and often much of this has been work related where time has been limited. I learnt quickly to find ways to squeeze in an hour here and there to make sure I always got to see something new.

Life’s too short and there is so much to see so don’t be one the folks sitting in the lounge at the hotel or airport.

Futuristic domes, towering Supertrees, and lush greenery exhibits

Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is an exciting destination that showcases a stunning blend of nature and technology. The iconic Supertree Grove features towering vertical gardens that light up at night in a mesmerizing display. The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories house diverse plant species and breathtaking landscapes. Interactive exhibits and garden trails offer educational and fun experiences for all ages. The beautiful waterfront location and innovative design make Gardens by the Bay a must-visit attraction.

My Recommendations

  1. Watch the sunrise over Marina Bay with the spectacle of the Singapore Flyer and city backdrop
  2. Walk up the Barrage and feel the the ocean breeze and take in the “car park” of ships , tankers and tenders.
  3. Walk the MBS promenade and take in the city views, watch people on the morning exercise.
  4. Do the Skyway walk through the Supertrees.

Watch our for the otters

The otters at Marina Bay Sands Gardens by the Bay are a delightful attraction, often seen playing in the waters and along the waterfront. These charming creatures provide a unique wildlife experience amidst the urban landscape, captivating visitors with their playful antics and contributing to the area’s natural allure.

When to Visit

Morning

Early morning is brilliant for the sunrise and comfortable for walking through the gardens and around MBS

Evening

Evening is when the colours and lights change the mood and the spectacle. Watch the sunset over the CBD and then walk through the Skyway after dark to enjoy the colors and lights.
